Ethiopia’s banking industry has secured a place among Africa’s largest financial institutions, with the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE) ranked 15th among the continent’s top 30 banks by total assets.
The ranking, presented in an infographic by the Africa Trade Finance Company (ATFC), estimates CBE’s total assets at $25 billion, making it the only Ethiopian bank included in the list of Africa’s 30 largest banks.
