Three Senegalese supporters have been released after serving a three-month prison sentence in Morocco for their involvement in the violence that occurred during the AFCON final in Rabat.
The three Senegalese nationals were released from Al Arjat 2 prison, located about fifteen kilometers northeast of Rabat. They were welcomed upon their release by members of the Senegalese embassy.
One of them told AFP: “Dima Maroc, dima Maghrib” (“Long live Morocco” – in Moroccan dialect).
